Ingredients for
Aunt Ethel's Chocolate Icing For Angel Food Cake

Mix in this order:

  • 1 1/2 cups fruit (powdered) sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 4 tbsp. strong coffee
  • 2 squares unsweetened chocolate (melted)
  • 1/2 cup butter (margarine)
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

How to Make
Aunt Ethel's Chocolate Icing For Angel Food Cake

  1. Beat 2 egg whites until stiff
  2. Fold egg whites into icing
  3. Icing should fill layers and outside
  4. Chill first then ice cake
  5. Refrigerate

Notes

Cut cake into 5 layers before starting.
