Ingredients for
Aunt Ethel's Peanut Butter Squares

9"x13" pan
3/4 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup corn syrup

Heat until blended, then take off stove and add:

13 1/2 oz. peanut butter (1 3/4 cup)
3 cups crushed corn flakes
1 1/2 cups rice krispies
dash of salt

How to Make
Aunt Ethel's Peanut Butter Squares

Pat into a 9"x13" pan and cool
Add thin layer of butter icing
Allow to set
Melt 4 squares of semi-sweet chocolate with 2 tbsp. butter
Smooth over icing layer
Cut into squares
