Here's an old school favourite of Paul's from his mother's kitchen. This recipe is taken from a book Jill Kanwischer created called Relished Recipes by Relatives. It was created back in the day of typewriters and pages were photocopied and put into a three ringed binder. The recipe book was used as a fundraiser for Grace Hospital's Neonatal Unit where sister Judy Breton was a nurse.

Notes

You can jazz this up with a few spices such as pepper or poultry seasoning etc. If you don't like canned peas you can use frozen peas or frozen peas and carrots and mix them right into the pot. 

This is also a super easy way to use up chicken or turkey leftovers instead of boiling chicken.
