To make turkey or chicken broth, you really only need: turkey or chicken bones water I like to throw in some extra veggies and herbs for flavor.

Makes about 3-4 quarts
turkey or chicken bones
any parts of the bird you are not going to use wings, legs ect
onions (rough chopped)
garlic (rough chopped)
carrots, and or celery (rough chopped)
herbs (sage, basil, rosemary)
water
1 large stock pot add bones, vegetables, and herbs cover with water
bring water to a boil, then lower temperate to a simmer for 2 hours
strain out all solids, and allow liquid to cool before storage in refridegator
