Ingredients for
Mom's (Emily's) Peanut Butter Cookies

  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt

How to Make
Mom's (Emily's) Peanut Butter Cookies

  1. Roll into small balls and place on cookie sheet
  2. Press down with a fork to make checkerboard design on top of cookie
  3. Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes

Notes

Daughter Jane has elevated these cookies to a new level! Simply stir in 1/2 cup of chopped dry roasted peanuts at the end. It gives a nice added kick of flavour.
