My cousin Jane Saro brought these cookies to our 2022 annual Shop Til You Drop weekend at my cousin Ann's house and they are DELICIOUS!!!

Ingredients of
Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 3/4 cups brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups dark chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup caramel baking bits

How to Make
Caramel Chocolate Chunk Cookies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare baking sheets with silicone liners if you have them or parchment paper.
  2. Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  3. In a stand mixer beat the butter and sugars until lightened and creamy (3 minutes), then add in the eggs and vanilla and continue to mix at medium speed for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Gradually add in the flour mixture just until combined then fold in the chocolate and caramel chips.
  5. Scoop in 2 tablespoon sized balls onto lined cookie sheet. Refrigerate the sheets for about 15 - 20 minutes while oven pre-heats to 350 degrees. Bake for 13 - 15 minutes or until golden brown
  6. Let cool on the cookie sheet.

Notes

These cookies can be frozen. Let them cool to room temperature, transfer to air tight container and freeze for up to 3 months.
