Ingredients of
Mom's Apple Crisp

  • 4 cups apples (Spy or Honeycrisp)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup melted butter

How to Make
Mom's Apple Crisp

  1. Peel apples and slice into fairly thin pieces.  Place in a 10 x 6 x 2" buttered glass baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle cinnamon, then salt then water over the apples.
  3. In a bowl mix flour, sugar and butter together.  Sprinkle topping over apples.
  4. Bake at 350℉ for 40 minutes.
